Clinical Nurse II: E4 (Med/Surg)
Albany Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Medical/Surgical Hospitalist team on E4. This night shift position offers an opportunity to contribute to a patient-centered environment where kindness and active listening are paramount.
About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse II, you will be instrumental in patient care by:
- Implementing physician orders, administering medications, and starting IVs.
- Performing treatments, procedures, and special tests, documenting care as required.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
- Evaluating patient needs and responses to care, applying sound nursing judgment.
- Providing primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care.
- Directing and guiding ancillary personnel to maintain high standards of nursing care.
