Role Overview - FP&A Analyst

Albany Engineered Composites Salt Lake City is seeking a highly organized FP&A Analyst. The role is responsible for compiling, evaluating, and reporting the SLC Business Unit’s financial performance, ensuring forecasts, analyses, and reports are accurate and timely.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for AEC SLC FP&A activities and reporting.
• Analyze financial performance and identify trends and insights.
• Maintain financial models to consolidate program forecasts and deliverables.
• Collaborate with cost center owners to develop overhead budgets.
• Forecast government overhead rates and prepare monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Support working capital improvements and develop annual operating plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver ad hoc analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA preferred.
• 4+ years related experience; Aerospace & defense industry experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with cash flow forecasting and government overhead rates preferred.
• Government contracting experience is preferred.

Working Conditions

Office environment with moderate noise, comfortable temperatures, and possibility for remote work. Some travel may be required.
