Job Details

Job Purpose

The AEC Business Analyst is responsible for supporting all AEC supply chain business analytics, process optimization, systems, and standard work. This encompasses supplier analysis, supply chain metrics, optimizing processes, and contributing to successful project execution while meeting individual and organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze data on supply chain operations.
  • Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Assess supplier performance and recommend process improvements.
  • Enforce supply chain compliance and measure performance.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, planning, IT, and strategic sourcing teams.
  • Support SIOP activities and risk assessments related to production schedules.
  • Develop and implement performance measures and audit processes.
  • Communicate effectively with AEC and supplier personnel at all levels.
  • Champion continuous improvement and bridge R+T with PDC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in purchasing, supply chain or business analytics.
  • International supply experience and SAP knowledge are advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to manage centralized procurement activities and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of U.S. acquisition regulations (FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR, etc.).

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Work is primarily office-based with the potential for remote work initially. Occasional travel, movement on the production floor, and ability to lift items >10 lbs are required. Must be able to remain seated for extended periods and frequently operate a computer.
