Overview
Alarm.com is looking for a forward-thinking and data-driven Web & SEO Specialist to own the search landscape and manage web content. This hybrid role spans foundational SEO techniques to AI-driven search strategies.
Search Strategy & Optimization (SEO & AEO)
Develop and execute a comprehensive search strategy across traditional platforms (Google) and emerging AI platforms (SGE, Perplexity, etc.). Champion best practices in SEO and Answer Engine Optimization, advising on technical site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and content structure to win featured snippets and AI-powered answers.
- Conduct deep keyword and prompt research.
- Create optimized content briefs.
- Manage on-page and off-page initiatives.
- Perform regular technical audits ensuring site performance.
Web Content & Platform Management
Manage all website content updates within our CMS to ensure integrity and conversion optimization. Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to translate strategy into compelling pages and oversee content generation from planning to performance reporting.
- Serve as the in-house CMS expert.
- Collaborate on content calendars and briefs.
- Analyze A/B tests to improve user journeys.
Performance Analytics & Insights
Utilize tools like GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush and others to track, analyze, and present key performance indicators. Create dashboards that translate data into actionable insights for leadership and marketing teams.
- Monitor metrics and define KPIs.
- Deliver user-friendly performance dashboards.
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years experience in SEO, content strategy, and website management. Extensive hands-on expertise with tools including SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics 4, and Google Search Console is essential. Must be fluent in modern search techniques including LLMs, SGE, and AEO, with a proven CMS management track record. Google Analytics certification is a plus.
Bonus Points
Experience with AI-powered content optimization tools and working knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor troubleshooting.
