Overview

Super Products, an Alamo Group Company, is seeking a Product Design Engineer at its Mukwonago, WI location. The role is responsible for engineering and developing multiple mechanical systems to sustain, improve, and expand existing vacuum truck product lines.

Position Summary

This role involves engineering design, documentation, analysis, and collaboration to support product line improvements and new developments.

Essential Functions

  • Develop detailed component and assembly designs using SolidWorks
  • Conduct structural analysis, drive system calculations, and product validation testing
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation and bills of materials
  • Participate in the ECO process and collaborate with production and vendors for cost-effective designs
  • Provide technical support to production and service teams
  • Support process improvement and business activities across departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of product or machine design experience with DFMA knowledge
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and advanced engineering calculations
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Valid driver’s license

Working Conditions

The position involves primarily office work with regular time spent in a manufacturing shop. Occasional outdoor work and travel (less than 5%) to suppliers, trade shows, or customer sites will be required.
