About the ArcGIS Dashboard Designer Role
The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies is looking for a part-time remote ArcGIS Dashboard Designer to support our government customer. You will support the Forest Service Forest Health Assessment and Applied Sciences Team (FHAAST) by creating accessible and dynamic interactive web content.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain interactive web content including Hub sites, Story Maps, and Dashboards.
- Ensure content is accessible and adheres to Section 508 guidelines.
- Utilize tabular, spatial, and trend data on forest insect and disease conditions.
- Design and build web apps using Esri App Builders and other ArcGIS products.
- Incorporate various data sources, 2D/3D maps, and widgets into cohesive experiences.
- Focus on user experience and accessibility in all designs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
A BS in GIS, information services/technology or a related field with a minimum of four years’ experience in using Esri Builder Apps including ArcGIS Story Maps, ArcGIS Dashboards, and ArcGIS Experience Builder.
Preferred Experience
Federal or DoD experience is preferred, along with a U.S. citizenship requirement and ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
