Financial Services Officer I
The Financial Services Officer I at Alabama One Credit Union will cultivate and develop relationships to provide meaningful service to individual members. The role involves opening accounts, resolving issues, and providing guidance on products and services, while also consulting with members about their consumer lending needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist members with financial needs: opening/closing accounts, transferring funds, and issuing debit cards.
- Conduct teller transactions when necessary.
- Provide recommendations related to lending needs and communicate lending decisions.
- Develop sales leads and cross-sell additional products and services.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of Alabama ONE products and services.
- Ensure appropriate records and reports are maintained.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; at least one year of similar experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Effective and proactive communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of consumer loans and new account procedures.
