Job Description
UX Researcher
Akraya, Inc. is seeking a skilled UX Researcher to join their team for a 12+ month contract, with potential for extension. This hybrid role is based in Bucharest, Romania, requiring 3 days onsite.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in product development by leading user experience research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience and comfort with running moderated and unmoderated studies.
- Experience in research for user experience design for product development.
- Demonstrated proficiency in qualitative user research & analysis methods.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and ability to work independently on a variety of tasks.
Must-Have Skills
- Advanced degree in Human Factors, Industrial Engineering, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, or similar field emphasizing human performance and behavior.
- 3-5 years of experience in user experience research or related field.
- Knowledge of advanced statistics and expertise in large-scale survey analysis.
- Visual communications skills for research (e.g., graphs, charts and slides layout).
- Able to prioritize time between multiple projects, and be flexible by adapting to changing timelines.
