Job Summary
Akkodis is seeking an IT Business Analyst for a Contract role with a client. This position is hybrid and located in Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, or New York, NY. The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for managing reporting request intake and prioritization, while also ensuring the timely resolution of data process exceptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements by collaborating effectively with various stakeholders and technical teams.
- Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify gaps and propose technology-driven solutions for improvement.
- Translate complex business needs into clear and concise functional specifications for development teams.
- Facilitate seamless communication between business units and IT to ensure complete alignment on project objectives.
- Perform thorough data analysis and validation to support informed decision-making and system enhancements.
- Support comprehensive testing and quality assurance efforts by creating relevant test cases and validating deliverables against initial requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- 3–5+ years of practical experience in IT business analysis, including requirements gathering and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in requirements documentation, stakeholder communication, and the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis tools and SQL, along with familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Compensation and Benefits
The rate range for this contract role is $53 to $58 per hour, negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
