Job Description

Internal Auditor at Akkodis Group Nordics

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor for a contract role with a client in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will possess strong internal audit expertise, with a proven ability to independently evaluate controls and assess risks within regulatory reporting processes.

Job Responsibilities Include

  • Conducting data gathering and performing detailed analysis to support standard audit execution.
  • Executing control testing procedures and documenting results with complete evidencing.
  • Evaluating risks continuously and identifying significant control gaps across assigned areas.
  • Communicating audit findings and clarifications with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Preparing audit documentation while maintaining accuracy, traceability, and adherence to audit standards.
  • Managing project timelines effectively and working independently to complete audit activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or another related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience required.
  • Strong internal audit background with proven capability in control testing, documentation, and continuous risk assessment.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent analytical, communication, and project‑management skills to support regulatory reporting activities.

Pay Details

$37.00 to $53.00 per hour. Rate is negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
