Akido Labs is rebuilding the healthcare experience using human-centered technology to empower government, healthcare, and nonprofit services with population-based data. We are a fast-growing, impact-focused Y Combinator company emerging from USC’s D-Health Lab.

The Opportunity

The Automation Manager will lead the company’s enterprise-wide RPA initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, you will design and implement scalable automation solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and innovation across business units.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end RPA and automation projects across business functions.
  • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, ROI, and key performance metrics.
  • Align automation initiatives with the organizational digital transformation roadmap.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and conduct workflow assessments.
  • Establish governance frameworks, compliance standards, and documentation practices.
  • Monitor utilization of RPA licenses and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies like AI, ML, and process mining.
  • Oversee proof of concept initiatives and integrate next-generation solutions.
  • Lead and mentor the RPA team based in India including architects, developers, and analysts.
  • Provide strategic and technical support during issue resolution.

Who You Are

  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Has 12–18 years of experience, with 5–7 years in RPA/Intelligent Automation leadership.
  • Experienced with leading RPA platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Power Automate.
  • Proven track record delivering automation projects with measurable ROI.
  • Strong in process optimization, governance, and change management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Preferred certifications: RPA Tool Certifications, PMP/PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, plus exposure to AI/ML.
