The Role: Technical Product Manager

We are seeking a talented and technically-minded Technical Product Manager to help shape the next generation of the Akeyless Platform. This hybrid role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, hands-on technical experience, and a deep understanding of modern security architectures such as Machine Identity Management, IAM, IGA, or PAM.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, customers, and leadership to define and deliver innovative capabilities that secure and streamline enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Partner with engineering to define detailed specifications, review designs, test releases, and validate user experiences effectively.
• Drive Product Strategy & Execution: Define, prioritize, and deliver the product roadmap based on comprehensive customer needs, evolving market trends, and strategic business goals.
• Customer-Focused Product Design: Gather and analyze customer feedback, lead feature ideation processes, and ensure user expectations are exceeded through intuitive design and coherent documentation.
• Deep Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct hands-on research into the broader security ecosystem to proactively identify new opportunities and crucial competitive differentiators.
• Support Product Marketing & Go-To-Market: Work alongside marketing and sales teams to articulate clear product positioning, compelling messaging, and essential launch materials for new capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Product Management, Solutions Architecture, or DevSecOps roles, with at least 2 years as a Product Manager in a Security domain.
• Strong technical foundation, comfortable discussing architectures involving Kubernetes, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and microservices.
• Background in security infrastructure, ideally with expertise in one or more of the following areas: NHI (Non-Human Identities / Machine Identities), IAM (Identity Access Management), CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform), PAM (Privileged Access Management).
• Experience with Identity Providers, PKI, Secrets Management, KMS, or HSM is a strong plus.
• A hands-on and curious technologist who loves exploring new tools, architectures, and open-source technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively cross-functionally.
