We’re looking for a talented and technically-minded Technical Product Manager to help shape the next generation of the Akeyless Platform. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, hands-on technical experience, and deep understanding of modern security architectures such as Machine Identity Management, IAM, IGA or PAM. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, customers, and leadership to define and deliver innovative capabilities that secure and streamline enterprise infrastructure.Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Partner with engineering to define detailed specs, review designs, test releases, and validate user experiences.
- Drive Product Strategy & Execution: Define, prioritize, and deliver the product roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
- Customer-Focused Product Design: Gather and analyze customer feedback, lead feature ideation, and ensure user expectations are exceeded through intuitive design and coherent documentation.
- Deep Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct hands-on research into the security ecosystem to identify opportunities and competitive differentiators.
- Support Product Marketing & GTM: Work with marketing and sales to articulate product positioning, messaging, and launch materials for new capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Product Management, Solutions Architecture, or DevSecOps roles, with at least 2 years as a Product Manager in a Security domain.
- Strong technical foundation comfortable discussing architectures involving Kubernetes, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and microservices.
- Background in security infrastructure, ideally with expertise in one or more of the following areas: NHI (Non-Human Identities / Machine Identities), IAM (Identity Access Management), CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform), PAM (Privileged Access Management).
- Experience with Identity Providers, PKI, Secrets Management, KMS, or HSM is a strong plus.
- Hands-on and curious technologist, loves exploring new tools, architectures, and open-source technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
