Who You Are
You are often the most technically credible person in the room. You lead with curiosity, seek to understand, and influence outcomes through clarity, judgment, and trust. You are equally comfortable whiteboarding an integration with a developer, pressure-testing feasibility with Product and Engineering, or presenting a clear technical architecture to a firm’s Executive Team.
As a Solutions Architect at Aiwyn, you serve as the bridge between what a firm needs, what our platform can support, and what our Implementation team can successfully execute. This is a build role. You'll join the founding class of a brand-new Solutions Architecture function: defining the playbooks, scoping standards, and discovery frameworks that will scale with us. There's no manual yet. You'll write it. If that energizes you rather than intimidates you, keep reading.
We are AI-first operators. You use AI tools by default: discovery prep, scoping documentation, and accelerating your own product learning. And you can credibly represent that mindset to firms adopting AI and agents in their own workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical evaluation end-to-end. Lead technical discovery, feasibility assessment, and solution architecture across the pre-sale cycle. You're the definitive answer to "can we do this, and what will it take?"
- Design systems-level solutions. Translate firm workflow requirements into integration blueprints spanning APIs, webhooks, data migration, ETL, and SSO — and assess feasibility without pulling in Engineering for every question. Produce contract-quality scoping documents that Delivery Leads can execute without re-discovery. Your work product sets the implementation up to succeed.
- Run executive rooms. Build credibility with firm-side CTOs, COOs, and partners and shape deal strategy alongside our AEs, influencing evaluation criteria and accelerating technical buyer trust. Uncover what firms actually need including what they can't articulate and synthesize findings into designs, timelines, and constraints. Knowing when to say no is part of the job.
- Build the playbook. Turn ad hoc wins into a reproducible structure that reduces ambiguity for everyone around you. Carry field signal back to Product with specificity patterns across engagements, not one-off feature requests.
- Show up in person. On-sites and joint sales calls are a material part of this role, and you genuinely enjoy them.
Qualifications
- Proven pre-sales, post-sales, solutions architecture, or solutions engineering experience in B2B SaaS, ideally FinTech or accounting technology, at a fast-growth 0-1 company or an early-series growth-stage company.
- Ideally have fluency in the accounting tech stack: GL systems, practice management platforms, document management, and billing infrastructure with an understanding of how Big 4, Top 25, and regional firm environments differ.
- Command of APIs, webhooks, data migration, ETL, and SSO sufficient to design integrations and judge feasibility independently.
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools and AI-assisted workflows in production and the ability to speak credibly to where the technology is headed.
- Exceptional communication across audiences: technical depth at the whiteboard, executive presence in the boardroom.
- Coachability and self-awareness: you can walk us through a deal you scoped poorly, what you learned, and how it changed your next scoping conversation.
- A builder's instinct: you've created structure where none existed and made your work reproducible.
- Enthusiasm for travel and on-site customer engagement.
