The Role: Marketing Operations Specialist at Aiven
The Marketing Operations Specialist is the "engine" of our marketing at Aiven. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the timely, accurate, and high-quality deployment of all marketing campaigns, ranging from intricate email nurtures and events to global webinar series. Your core focus will be on process excellence, technical accuracy, and ensuring our lead routing logic functions flawlessly to support the sales pipeline.
As a key member of our global Marketing Operations team, you will serve as the technical lead for marketing solutions. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing, Sales, and RevOps teams, providing them with the necessary assets, segments, and workflows to achieve ambitious growth targets.
What You'll Do:
- End-to-End Campaign Execution Support and Enablement: Build and implement best practices for launching emails, landing pages, and automated nurtures based on stakeholder requirements.
- Lead Management & Routing: Efficiently manage qualification and distribution logic to ensure leads move seamlessly through the funnel, adhering to strict SLAs with the Sales team.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous QA processes, including cross-browser testing, dynamic content validation, and lead-flow testing prior to every deployment.
- Process Standardization: Design, establish, and enforce templating to maintain a clean, scalable database and robust reporting capabilities.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary technical point of contact for the marketing team, resolving issues in real-time and delivering platform training.
- Optimization & Testing: Plan and execute A/B tests and user experiments to optimize conversion rates and enhance the "Customer First" experience.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 2+ years in marketing operations or automation, ideally within a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.
- Platform Expertise: Hands-on administrative experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) or a similar Marketing Automation Platform (MAP), and Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Technical Proficiency: Intermediate HTML/CSS skills for troubleshooting email rendering, and a basic comfort level with data/numbers (SQL is a plus).
- Logical Mindset: A strong aptitude for conditional logic (if/then/else) and the ability to visualize complex lead routing and nurture flows.
- Execution Focus: A "measure twice, cut once" approach, with a proven ability to create and adhere to strict execution checklists and QA standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills, enabling you to manage multiple requests and clearly report status to non-technical partners.
