About The Team

The Corporate Affairs team is responsible for managing Airwallex’s reputation, public relations, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement. This team ensures transparent engagement with media, industry influencers, and internal stakeholders, while supporting the company’s strategic growth goals.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs, APAC, you will:

  • Lead stakeholder communications and engagement strategy for the ANZ business.
  • Devise holistic engagement programs with senior media contacts.
  • Shape the external profile of global leadership in the region.
  • Update messaging strategies on key policy issues.
  • Represent Airwallex as a spokesperson and manage press office duties in ANZ.
  • Launch campaigns including media placements and keynote opportunities.
  • Provide counsel on reputational risk and manage crisis communications.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience blending agency and in-house roles in regulated industries and B2B technology. You possess strong public affairs, media relations, and communication skills, an established network within ANZ media, and have experience working with international teams. Executive presence, strategic sensibility, and the ability to build consensus are crucial.
