Role: Software Engineer, Android

The Android app role at Airtable involves designing and developing novel mobile interfaces tailored for mobile-first and touch-friendly experiences. You will lead all aspects of Android development from designing to releasing new features, while also rethinking core features to create mobile-native solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Own design, development, testing, iteration, release and maintenance of the Airtable Android app.
  • Collaborate with PMs and designers to define product roadmap.
  • Analyze and visualize data to drive product insights.
  • Work with mobile and engineering teams to validate technical requirements.
  • Work autonomously with QA, ensuring system safety and customer data integrity.
  • Mentor team members and provide constructive feedback.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of Android development experience.
  • Experience in producing high-quality, UI-rich Android apps (apps in the Play Store are a bonus).
  • Proficient in Java and/or Kotlin.
  • Strong product and design sensibilities with focus on detail.
  • Skilled in thoughtful decision making and rapid execution when needed.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary ranges from $148,100 to $221,500 depending on location (San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, New York City, Los Angeles) and experience.
