Job Summary
NAVBLUE is seeking a SAFe Product Owner as a key part of the NAVBLUE North America Software Factory team. The role involves turning business and operational needs into actionable User Stories and collaborating closely with the development team to implement these as per the Definition of Done.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Apply the SAFe framework to define and prioritize user stories.
- Interface between Product Management, Software Factory, and development teams.
- Deploy Lean-Agile principles, break silos, and align with Portfolio framework.
- Bridge the gap between strict recommendations and daily business practices.
- Transition effectively between functional and technical domains.
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or equivalent.
- Strong background in the Aviation industry, especially in Crew or Flight Operations digital solutions.
- Experience in SAFe and strong leadership skills.
- Superior analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- A degree in software engineering, aeronautics, or commensurate experience.
