Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
As a Customer Programme Manager at Airbus, you will be the primary point of contact for customer needs and issues regarding connected aircraft. This role involves close collaboration with various internal teams, including FCO-team for linefit, regional sales, SR or MRO for line- and retrofit, and in-service support. You will be instrumental in managing Early Adopter Programs for Chinese Airlines, facilitating co-design workshops with customers with support from marketing and SXE, and overseeing customer programs from the campaign and offer phase through contract signature, deployment, and in-service execution. A key focus is ensuring customer satisfaction, fulfilling contractual obligations, and maintaining a profitable P&L. You will partner with Sales & Marketing teams (ACCx) to cultivate lasting customer relationships and expand the Connected Aircraft business, aligning with growth objectives. Leading the co-design of tailored customer offers and solutions that address specific needs and value opportunities will be a core responsibility. Acting as the program point of contact for customer needs, you will work closely with the Global Account Management (GAM) team and initiate improvements for customer satisfaction. Internally, you will champion the customer perspective, acting as the “Voice of the Customer” and spearheading initiatives to enhance satisfaction, potentially through transformation efforts. Understanding China's specific market trends and collaborating with the SXE team to onboard digital partners are also crucial aspects of this role.
Qualification
- Fluent in Chinese
- Demonstrated achievements relevant to customer-facing roles
- A comprehensive understanding of airline business and operations
- A strong business acumen and customer-mindset, with demonstrated achievements in the end-to-end management of customer programs
- A deep understanding of technical architectures/solutions and the business stakes related to connectivity / connected aircraft
- A strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build lasting, trustful relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
