About the Role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an Industrial Designer (f/m) to join our Design Studio in Toulouse, France. You will contribute to developing cabin interior solutions, focusing on airline interior concept definition to ensure timely and quality aircraft deliveries.

Your Responsibilities

  • Report to the Design Studio Leadership team for project allocation and deliverables, including on-the-job development.
  • Plan and manage the design process from conception to completion, including initial brief, design development, CMF (Colors, Material, and Finish) innovation, specification, and tendering for global customers via Airbus' industrial process, while adhering to project milestones.
  • Manage and follow customized design projects within a multi-cultural team and interact daily with worldwide airline customers.
  • Collaborate with other Airbus Departments, understanding their needs while championing the customer.
  • Utilize 3D tools and visual creation methods for the design concept phase.
  • Create high-quality presentation materials to effectively communicate design intent.
  • Introduce new ideas and ways of working to enhance the Design Studio's approach and contribute to its evolving design culture and strategy in Toulouse and Hamburg.

Your Profile

  • Previous experience in industrial design, product design, airline interiors, automotive, architectural design, or interior color, material, and finish (CMF).
  • A positive, innovative mindset with a creative approach.
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant design field (Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Textile Design, etc.).
  • Mandatory design experience in CMF, Lighting, concept, or Industrial Design.
  • Knowledge of project management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (Adobe CC, Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office), tools, and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of InDesign, KeyShot, Solidworks, Blender, Rhino, etc., is a plus.
  • Exceptional visual, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and independently.
  • Team-oriented, problem-solving attitude, autonomous, and proactive.
  • Willingness to travel to shows and suppliers globally.
