The Difference You Will Make

As a Staff Software Engineer, Growth Platform, you will build an AI-driven growth engine to expand Airbnb's host supply.

  • Collaborate across technical, business, and product teams.
  • Prototype and implement innovative AI solutions.
  • Influence strategic technical decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Mentor engineers and drive technical quality through all stages.

A Typical Day

Design and enhance technical systems by aligning product goals with current systems. Lead engineers, contribute to UX and product definitions, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver globally optimal solutions.

Your Expertise

  • 9+ years in fast-paced, relevant software development.
  • Strong backend proficiency (Java, Kotlin, Scala, Python) and modern frontend exposure (React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Experience delivering end-to-end products and scalable architectures.
  • Data-driven decision making with effective cross-team communication.
  • Passion for intuitive user experience and AI-driven innovation.

Your Location

This is a US - Remote Eligible role. You must reside in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity. Occasional work at an Airbnb office or offsites may be required based on agreement.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive base pay with eligibility for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits. Base pay range: $204,000—$255,000 USD.
