The Community You Will Join: Identity Team
Join our team at Airbnb as a Software Engineer, Trust. You will play a crucial role in enhancing transparency and trust within our global community by developing advanced identity verification solutions and combatting fraud.
What You Will Do
- Develop business verification systems for new user segments.
- Expand and enhance identity verification processes.
- Identify and incorporate new user signals to reduce fraud and misuse.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, design, product, and data science.
- Prototype, develop, productionize, and test robust solutions for emerging fraud trends.
Your Expertise
6+ years industry experience, Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in CS or related field, and a proven track record in building high-quality, scalable products.
The role requires a strong technical acumen, the ability to evaluate different technical approaches, and effective project management skills.
Your Location
This position is US - Remote Eligible. Candidates must reside in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity, with occasional on-site work or offsite meetings as required.

Compensation and Benefits
This role has a base pay range of $160,000—$180,000 USD, and may include bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
