The Community You Will Join
The Listing Backend Onboarding and Management team drives host journey success by developing backend functionalities that power the main tools used to create and manage stays and experiences.
- Collaborate with Client Engineering, Product Management, and Design teams.
- Coordinate with Partner API, User, Cohosting, and Pricing teams.
- Contribute to biannual Airbnb releases impacting company success.
The Difference You Will Make
- Align product requirements and drive technical scoping.
- Design, implement, and operate new backend functionalities.
- Develop high-quality, re-usable backend components.
- Mentor and support other engineers.
Your Expertise
- 6+ years industry experience with a Bachelor's and/or Master's in CS or equivalent.
- Proven ability to build high-quality, consumer-facing products.
- Skilled in evaluating technical approaches and designing product solutions.
- Experience in driving alignment, managing projects, and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Proven mentorship of junior engineers.
Your Location
This position is US - Remote Eligible. Occasional work at an Airbnb office or offsites may be required based on agreement and eligibility by state.

How We'll Take Care Of You
This role includes a competitive base pay (currently between $195,000 and $220,000 USD) plus bonus, equity, and additional benefits.
