The Community You Will Join
Join the Marketplaces Data and AI team, a passionate group of machine learning, software, data and analytics engineers. You will help build cutting-edge AI and data products leveraging Airbnb’s vast datasets across Users, Listings, Pricing, and Supply/Demand.
The Difference You Will Make
In the role of Senior Engineering Manager - Marketplaces DNA, you will define and execute strategy to enhance the intelligence of guest and host apps. You will set priorities, balance speed and quality, and drive ambitious ML initiatives including AI Photo Tour, Categories, and AI-driven review synthesis.
A Typical Day
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of 10+ engineers and technical leads.
- Partner with senior leadership in Data Science, Product, and Business.
- Collaborate with teams like Host Tools, Pricing, Guest Experience, Trust and more.
- Coach and develop team members to grow their technical expertise.
Your Expertise
- 12+ years of industry experience with 5-7 years in engineering management.
- Proven track record in shipping scalable data and ML products.
- Experience in strategy and roadmap setting for 2-3 year technical plans.
- Skilled in building high-performing teams in dynamic settings.
- Exceptional people management and mentorship skills.
Your Location
This role is US - Remote Eligible. Occasional visits to Airbnb offices or offsites may be required. Candidates must reside in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.

How We'll Take Care Of You

Pay Range
$204,000—$255,000 USD
