About the Role
This temporary assignment at Airbnb involves ensuring daily service level agreements are met in responding to user tickets and reviewing users or reservations for risks to our users or the Airbnb platform. You will collaborate closely with product and shared services stakeholders to provide feedback for model improvement, focusing on analyzing online patterns and trends.
Responsibilities
- Support the Trust team in meeting ticket and queue service level agreements.
- Educate users on security and safety practices for responsible Airbnb use.
- Investigate complex situations and potential fraud identified in escalations.
- Understand risk systems and investigate account patterns.
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality during investigations.
- Comprehensively document all investigations.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of online fraud.
- Demonstrate strong judgment and share knowledge with others.
Technical Skill Requirements
- Familiarity with Google Suite (mail, docs, sheets, slides).
- Experience with Mac OS.
- Experience with customer ticketing systems.
- 1-2 years of experience in risk management, fraud prevention, or Trust and Safety.
- Availability for a regular 5-day work week (40 hours), including potential weekends and public holidays.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) for tactful and diplomatic community support.
- Ability to balance fraud prevention with a positive customer experience.
