Your Role as Localization Manager, Canada
You will drive Airbnb’s international expansion in Canada by owning and executing localization strategy. You will work closely with Country Managers, Marketing, Legal, Business Operations, and other key stakeholders to:
- Develop market-specific language strategies for an authentic user experience.
- Drive localization of product naming and creative content.
- Collaborate on product updates and influence market-driven changes.
- Ensure high quality translation and QA through vendor management.
- Establish cultural and linguistic standards to maintain Airbnb’s tone and voice.
A Typical Day
You will partner with local and central teams to strategize business growth, coordinate localization initiatives, and monitor quality. Your tasks include managing multiple stakeholders, implementing quality improvement measures, and aligning product adaptations with market research.
Your Expertise
With 8+ years in product localization, you bring proven experience in strategic localization management, fluent English and native Canadian French skills, excellent project and stakeholder management, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Location & Work Arrangement
This position is Canada-based and Remote Eligible. You must reside in a province where Airbnb Canada, Inc. is registered.
