The Community You Will Join
As the Fraud & Safety Risk Manager, you will develop and execute a comprehensive fraud and safety risk management strategy protecting users, safeguarding the organization, and supporting trusted growth. You will drive the evolution of fraud and safety defenses and work closely with product, operations, data analytics, and compliance teams to balance user experience with risk mitigation.

- Strategy & Risk Frameworks: Define risk appetite, set key risk indicators, and monitor trends.
- Operations Oversight: Oversee incident responses, investigate issues, and optimize workflows.
- Technology & Systems: Support implementation and evaluation of advanced fraud detection tools.
- Data & Analytics: Analyze trends, partner with data teams, and drive actionable recommendations.
- Regulatory, Legal & Governance: Ensure compliance with laws and manage risk governance processes.
- Leadership & Communication: Lead cross-functional initiatives and report to senior executives.
What You Bring
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred) and 15+ years of experience in risk management or financial crimes. You must have experience designing fraud and safety frameworks, proficiency with analytics and regulatory guidelines, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives at a senior level.
Your Location
This position is US - Remote Eligible. While remote, you must reside in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.

Compensation & Benefits
The base pay range is $150,000 to $185,000 USD, with additional eligibility for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
