About The Role

The Engineering Manager, Platform will scale and improve organizational transparency, provide career development and mentorship to our engineers, and drive technical direction and oversight of our core platform technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy, architecture, and execution of core platform technologies.
  • Enhance engineering best practices, including automation, SRE, and DevSecOps.
  • Maintain a collaborative bridge between application and platform teams.
  • Mentor team members and elevate their technical and professional growth.
  • Oversee scalable, high-quality product delivery with focus on testing and observability.
  • Collaborate with recruiting to hire diverse talent in cloud infrastructure and DevOps.

Must-haves

  • Minimum 5 years experience in cloud-native environments and distributed systems.
  • At least 2 years in management of platform, DevOps, or SRE teams.
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS services, containerisation, orchestration).
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and modern observability platforms.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills in English.

Good To Have

  • Expertise in advanced architectural patterns and cloud security.
  • Experience in regulated industries with high uptime demands.
  • Track record in developer experience improvement and cost optimisation.
