Job Description for Production Quality Technician

Air Squared Manufacturing, LLC is an OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries. This position is a full time, non-exempt role based in Thornton, CO.

Role Overview

The Production Quality Technician will work within the production department performing routine quality control activities, defect analysis, continual improvements, containment, and countermeasures. This position requires technical expertise to build, test, and repair/rework products, and the authority to halt production if a quality risk is identified.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily production quality checklists and inspections.
• Analyze quality deviations and risks.
• Participate in production meetings and continual improvement initiatives.
• Conduct defect analysis, RMA evaluations, and root cause investigations.
• Report and track non-conforming materials and audit production processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (required).
• Experience assembling, testing, and rebuilding scroll compressors.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel for data logging and report writing.
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate quality issues effectively.
