Chief Manager - Ground Safety & Quality Control

Job Purpose

The Chief Manager - Ground Safety & Quality Control will lead the Ground Safety and Quality Control team within the Airport Ops Division, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and continuous improvement of service, operational efficiency, quality, and safety.

Role & Responsibility

Responsible for ground safety and regulatory compliance at all airports including managing IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) requirements. As the Nodal Officer and SPOC for Airport Operations, you will collaborate with SSQE, Flight Safety, QMS, and other departments to meet the group’s safety objectives. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders including SMS and DMS for day-to-day safety challenges.
• Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating safety hazards and risks in ground operations.
• Driving a safety culture and implementing strategies to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Conducting risk assessments and utilizing risk matrices for hazard prioritization.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations set by DGCA, EASA, SAFA, and FAA.

Key Accountabilities

The role involves ensuring robust hazard identification, thorough risk assessments, and strict regulatory compliance. This includes working on IOSA requirements and driving continuous improvement in safety standards.
