Overview
Join Air Canada, an iconic Canadian airline recently ranked best in North America, as a Product Owner Data and AI. In this role, you will create data products that deliver value to the business and customers.
Role Summary
You will work with Product Managers to manage the backlog of new and existing data products within the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), acting as a bridge between stakeholders and data development teams. This agile role emphasizes frequent feedback, iteration, and the use of modern tools and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize requirements.
- Facilitate requirements walkthroughs and stakeholder workshops.
- Write, present, and refine user stories.
- Coordinate with development teams and support UAT testing.
- Ensure alignment between stakeholder needs and product strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; 3-5 years in Business Analysis or Product Ownership.
- Knowledge of BI analytics, data warehouse platforms, and SQL.
- Experience with agile methodologies and related tools such as Jira/Confluence.
- Strong analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Bilingual preferred.
