About the Role
Join Air Canada, an iconic Canadian brand rated the best Airline in North America, as an Infrastructure and Cloud Analyst. In this temporary role, you will be responsible for provisioning, administrating, and troubleshooting cloud resources in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple cloud infrastructure services across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and other vendors.
- Design, develop, deploy and maintain cloud-based solutions with automation tools.
- Provide subject matter expertise for AWS cloud services ensuring reliability and business recovery.
- Participate in the Cloud Management Center of Expertise and Governance process.
- Support cloud migration solutions while minimizing risks and maximizing benefits.
- Troubleshoot Cloud infrastructure issues and support major incident resolution.
- Monitor Cloud resource access and compliance, and collaborate with vendors and partners.
- Develop and validate policies, processes, and procedures for Cloud standards.
- Assist in project development and provide CI/CD DevOps expertise for pipeline implementation.
- Analyze business owner accounts, cloud usage, and capacity requirements.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a relevant University degree or technical certification along with experience in cloud technology, IT Infrastructure and Operations. This includes 4+ years in cloud tech, 2+ years in Cloud Operations (focusing on AWS), as well as expertise in ITSM processes, network/firewall systems, cloud security best practices, and automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform. Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills are essential. Familiarity with the airline or transportation/logistics industry is an asset. Bilingual abilities are preferred.
