Job Details

Job Purpose

The Rostering Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient manpower utilization of Air Arabia crew members by implementing policies and procedures, and complying with all relevant regulations. The role involves developing procedures and systems to enhance performance, guiding team members, and improving productivity.

Key Result Responsibilities

Manage administrative and operational aspects of Crew Planning and Control, ensuring timely and high-standard task delivery in line with policies and regulations.

  • Facilitate change and development of Crew Planning systems.
  • Review and optimize crew schedules to maximize efficiency and reduce manpower costs.
  • Collaborate with Flight and Cabin Crew Operations for process improvements.
  • Partner with financial departments regarding fatigue risk management approvals.
  • Coordinate with Safety and Quality Assurance on compliance matters.
  • Build exception reporting and live dashboards around business priorities.
  • Manage crew training plans including simulator and third-party resources.
  • Conduct annual reviews of system rules and coordinate functional changes with IT.
  • Guide team members to achieve performance targets and KPIs.
  • Hold periodic meetings with stakeholders for feedback and improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business, IT or related field and fluent in English.

  • 7+ years in manpower planning and delivery in high-volume settings.
  • Experience in aviation within recent 5 years as Supervisor/Manager in rostering or training.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and fatigue risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (ICAO, EASA, DAC) and crew scheduling.
  • Leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills enhanced by experience with crew management systems and Microsoft Office.
