Job Description

Overview

We are Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS), a team of dedicated experts fighting every day to save lives. Our charity is committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for our patients, having responded to over 3,100 incidents last year alone.

Main Purpose of Role

The Legacy Administration Manager is responsible for managing and administering legacy gifts. The goal is to maximise legacy income, ensure precise record keeping and timely receipt of funds in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming legacy notifications and maintain digital and physical records.
  • Respond promptly and sensitively to legacy related correspondence.
  • Manage and monitor legacy gifts ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices.
  • Review estate accounts and escalate contentious or complex cases when needed.
  • Liaise with executors, solicitors, and co-beneficiaries to resolve challenges.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support to lay executors and maintain legacy administration policies.
  • Work closely with Finance and Data Processing teams to accurately report income.

Other General Duties

  • Welcome visitors and adhere strictly to office procedures and confidentiality.
  • Support team morale and contribute to office and fundraising events.
  • Perform other duties as required by the Charity.
