How You Will Create An Impact
- Handle and process claims for all lines of business.
- Provide technical and decision-making support on high value claims.
- Review and approve settlement recommendations within delegated authority.
- Monitor claims turnaround time, accuracy, and service quality.
- Engage with clients and third-party vendors for fair and timely settlements.
- Support internal/external audits with required reports and data.
- Collaborate with regional operations and support departments to improve workflows.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in insurance, business, or risk management); legal background is an advantage.
- Experience in complex claims handling, preferably in marine, financial lines, or casualty insurance.
- Reside in Guam and hold a valid license/permit to work in Guam or secure one within a year.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage interpretation, and claims litigation.
- Ability to assess claims critically, negotiate settlements effectively, and follow up on audit recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in claims management systems and MS Office.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
