Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Developmental Book Editor specializing in AI-related content. The Developmental Book Editor will curate, evaluate, and refine educational materials, focusing on content structure, accuracy, and coherence. Responsibilities include collaborating with subject matter experts, conducting in-depth content reviews, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring alignment with AI CERTs®' educational objectives. Additionally, the editor will identify and fill content gaps, ensure adherence to brand guidelines, and oversee the production process to deliver high-quality, publishable outputs.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in developmental editing, content organization, and manuscript refinement
• Technical knowledge in AI concepts, terminologies, and technologies
• Proficiency in research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and reliability of content
• Effective communication, collaboration, and project management skills
• Familiarity with publishing standards, editing tools, and style guides
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote setting
• Experience in academic or technical publishing is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred)
