Hiring Event with On-the-Spot Offers!

AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT with ON THE SPOT JOB OFFERS for Full and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for their Manhattan ICF residence.

Pay Rate

$20.60 - $20.96 per hour, depending on driving status. This position also includes a comprehensive benefit package with FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE.

Event Details

  • Date & Time: Thursday, April 2nd, 10 AM - 1 PM
  • Location: By invite only. Recruiter will provide the specific address to qualified candidates.

Positions Available

  • Full-time (40 hrs): 3 PM - 11 PM & 2 PM - 10 PM (Drivers Required)
  • Part-time (30 hrs): 10 PM - 8 AM, Friday to Sunday (Drivers NOT Required)
  • Weekend availability is needed for most positions.

  • Oversight of all safety and health considerations

  • Other personalized responsibilities including cooking, cleaning, hygiene, etc.

Qualifications

  • Personal or professional experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) is preferred.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Patience is a MUST!
  • Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure, and the exercise of their rights in various settings.
  • Ability to use a computer for data entry.
  • High school education/GED is highly preferred.
