About AHPRA

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. Its mission is to protect the public through professional regulation.

Role Overview

The Financial Modeller role is a 6-month fixed term contract covering parental leave. The position is open to any Ahpra location, with a preference for Melbourne. In this role, you will support the Finance and Risk Directorate by managing financial models, forecasting, and analysis to ensure long-term sustainability and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance long-term financial models for forecasts and projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to update and improve models.
  • Drive improvements in model functionality, accuracy, and usability.
  • Lead implementation of Excel models into Anaplan.
  • Provide high-level financial analysis for strategic decisions.
  • Translate complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.

About You

You are a confident modeller with strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach. You have advanced Excel skills, experience with complex financial data, and are adept at stakeholder communication.
