Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a General Liability Analyst II Claims Adjuster to manage and investigate General Liability claims. The role involves determining liability exposure, negotiating settlements, and ensuring compliance with legal and statutory obligations.

Claims Management

Manage claims within set targets through thorough investigations, evaluations, negotiation, and timely disposition. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct detailed investigations and evaluate claim details.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and legal obligations.
  • Identify fraud indicators and pursue subrogation opportunities.
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Financial Impact Administration

Oversee a book of claims up to $2 million with settlement authority up to $25,000. Additional duties include:

  • Communicate incident causes to Safety and Brands.
  • Serve as primary contact for claim issues and resolution.
  • Research and resolve claim/legal issues promptly.

Basic Qualifications

Applicants must be licensed adjusters (as per jurisdiction) with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Candidates should have a thorough working knowledge of general liability claims, including medical terminology and legal procedures.
