Role Overview

As a Senior Microsoft Engineer at AHEAD, you will manage and support Microsoft-based IT infrastructure. You will provide advanced technical expertise for Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Server (and Online), SQL Server, SharePoint, Office 365, Intune, and Azure. You will work hands-on with clients to understand business needs, design tailored Microsoft solutions, and lead complex problem resolution while ensuring system security and high availability.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support Microsoft technologies at an advanced level
  • Assess client IT needs and design scalable Microsoft solutions
  • Architect, implement, and maintain secure Microsoft environments
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolve complex server and network issues
  • Perform system maintenance including patching, backups, and disaster recovery
  • Enforce security measures and participate in IT projects
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
  • Stay current with Microsoft trends and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Senior Microsoft Engineer
  • Deep understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint, Office 365, Intune, and Azure
  • Strong networking protocol knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • Experience in implementing robust security in Microsoft environments
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications are highly desirable

Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges from $135,000 to $160,000 annually. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, paid time off, parental and caregiver leave and more. Additional details are available at AHEAD Benefits.
