Our Programs

The content and communications group, part of the broader marketing team, crafts compelling stories that fuel company growth. We manage a diverse range of content—including blog posts, educational guides, newsletters, social engagement, and customer communications—to establish company and product thought leadership. We are committed to deadlines and uphold high standards.

We prioritize creating content that is educational, entertaining, relevant, and refreshing. We value direct feedback and quick revision cycles, all aimed at producing impactful work. Our roles are challenging and meaningful, consistently fostering improvement in our writing and content creation skills.

We utilize Aha! Roadmaps and Aha! Teamwork for planning and collaboration, acting as power users of our own software to provide feedback that often leads to customer-facing improvements. Slack and Zoom are our primary communication tools, with email used sparingly.

Your Experience

You possess at least seven years of experience in shaping, writing, and editing thought leadership content for product and company leaders. You are passionate about company growth, product development, and innovation. Your expertise includes voice matching across style, word choice, and worldview. You also have a strong interest in rapidly learning our unique philosophy on building lovable products and our suite of tools designed to help customers achieve optimal outcomes.

You welcome feedback, demonstrating resilience, nimbleness, and a willingness to help others enhance their content. You understand that exceptional writing requires both domain knowledge and critical thinking. Furthermore, you are keen to communicate how sophisticated workflow management tools can empower organizations to be more strategic and productive.

Your Work at Aha!

As a Sr. Writer, you will engage in a broad spectrum of marketing initiatives and programs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality company and product thought leadership content.
• Independently driving content creation from outline to strong draft.
• Writing for various channels, including blogs, newsletters, and social media.
• Proactively deepening your understanding of our market, customers, and product.
• Editing and reviewing marketing content, such as product announcements and campaigns.
• Learning and contributing to our editorial style guide.
• Leveraging AI tools to accelerate research and refine drafts (never as a substitute).
• Managing or supporting initiatives that contribute to marketing and company goals.

We offer comprehensive benefits, including profit sharing. The U.S.-based benefits listed below are largely extended to our international teammates:

• Base salary range in the U.S. is between $90,000 and $155,000.
• Cash-based compensation also includes profit sharing, with a percentage of your total pay contributed monthly to your retirement.
• Medical, dental, and vision plans (100% premium coverage for many teammates).
• Up to 200 hours of paid time off annually.
• 30 to 90 days of paid parental leave; five to 10 days of paid care and bereavement leave.
• Up to $1,000 annually for third-party education, plus paid time off for learning.

Base salary and total compensation are determined by factors such as skills, experience, and relevant past roles.
