The Aha! marketing team is a highly collaborative group of experts across campaigns, content, creative, knowledge base, and product marketing. We operate within North American time zones to facilitate live video meetings and foster strong teamwork. Our team drives growth, as Aha! operates without a sales team, meaning marketing is solely responsible for increasing awareness, visitors, and trial signups. We are dedicated and work with exceptional speed and effort, continuously producing engaging and valuable content for both new and existing customers. Our Programs

The content and communications group, a vital part of the broader marketing team, crafts compelling stories that fuel company growth. We manage a diverse range of content, including blog posts, educational guides, newsletters, social engagement, and customer communications, all designed to establish company and product thought leadership. We are highly deadline-driven and maintain rigorous standards for our work. We are committed to delivering content that is educational, entertaining, relevant, and refreshing. Embracing direct feedback and rapid revision cycles, we aim to produce work that delivers impactful results. Our work is challenging yet meaningful, consistently pushing us to grow as writers and content creators. We utilize Aha! Roadmaps and Aha! Teamwork for planning and collaboration, acting as power users of our own software and frequently contributing feedback for improvements that benefit customers. Slack and Zoom are our primary communication tools; email is rarely used.

Your Experience

You possess at least seven years of experience in shaping, writing, and editing thought leadership content for product and company leaders. You are deeply passionate about topics such as company growth, product development, and innovation. Expertise in voice matching — including style, word choice, and worldview — is essential. You also demonstrate a strong interest in rapidly learning our distinct philosophy for building lovable products and understanding the full suite of tools we offer to help customers achieve optimal outcomes. You welcome feedback and are resilient, nimble, and always willing to help others enhance their content. You understand that exceptional writing demands both domain knowledge and critical thinking skills, and you are keen to communicate how sophisticated workflow management tools can empower organizations to be more strategic and productive.

Your Work at Aha!

As a Sr. Writer, you will contribute to a broad range of marketing initiatives and programs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality company and product thought leadership content.
• Driving content creation independently, from outline to a strong draft.
• Writing for diverse channels, including blogs, newsletters, and social media.
• Proactively deepening your understanding of our market, customers, and product.
• Editing and reviewing marketing content, such as product announcements and campaigns.
• Learning and contributing to our editorial style guide.
• Leveraging AI tools to accelerate research and refine drafts (never as a substitute).
• Managing or supporting initiatives that contribute to marketing and company goals.

• Base salary range: $90,000 - $155,000 (U.S.)
• Cash-based compensation also includes profit sharing.
• Monthly contributions toward your retirement.
• Medical, dental, and vision plans (100% premium coverage for many teammates).
• Up to 200 hours of paid time off annually.
• 30-90 days of paid parental leave; 5-10 days paid care and bereavement leave.
• Up to $1,000 annually for third-party education, plus paid learning time off.

Base salary and total compensation are determined by skills, experience, and relevant past roles.
