The Aha! marketing team is a highly collaborative group of experts across campaigns, content, creative, knowledge base, and product marketing. We operate within North American time zones to facilitate live video meetings and collective achievement.

Our Programs
The content and communications group within marketing crafts compelling stories that fuel company growth. We manage diverse content types—blog posts, educational guides, newsletters, social engagement, and customer communications—to establish company and product thought leadership. We are deadline-driven and maintain high standards.
We are dedicated to providing educational, entertaining, relevant, and refreshing content. We embrace direct feedback and rapid revision cycles to produce impactful work. Our challenging and meaningful work consistently helps us grow as writers and content creators.
We plan and collaborate using Aha! Roadmaps and Aha! Teamwork, acting as power users of our own software, often providing feedback that leads to customer-facing improvements. We use Slack and Zoom for communication, with email used rarely.
Your Experience
You possess at least seven years of experience in shaping, writing, and editing thought leadership content for product and company leaders. You are passionate about company growth, product development, and innovation. You are an expert in voice matching, encompassing style, word choice, and worldview. You also have a strong interest in quickly learning our unique philosophy on building lovable products and our suite of tools.
You welcome feedback and are resilient, nimble, and always willing to help others improve their content. You understand that exceptional writing requires both domain knowledge and critical thinking. Likewise, you are keen to communicate how sophisticated workflow management tools can enhance organizational strategy and productivity.
Your Work at Aha!
You will contribute to a broad range of marketing initiatives and programs, with responsibilities including:
- Delivering high-quality company and product thought leadership content.
- Driving independent content creation, from outline to strong draft.
- Writing for various channels, including blogs, newsletters, and social media.
- Proactively deepening your understanding of our market, customers, and product.
- Editing and reviewing marketing content, such as product announcements and campaigns.
- Learning and contributing to our editorial style guide.
- Leveraging AI tools to accelerate research and refine drafts (never as a substitute).
- Managing or supporting initiatives aligned with marketing and company goals.

We offer comprehensive benefits, including profit sharing. For U.S.-based hires, the base salary range is between $90,000 and $155,000. Cash compensation also includes profit sharing, and we contribute a percentage of your total pay monthly towards retirement. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision plans (100% premium coverage for many), up to 200 hours of paid time off, 30-90 days of paid parental leave, 5-10 days of paid care and bereavement leave, and up to $1,000 annually for third-party education with paid time off. Volunteer opportunities are also available. Base salary and total compensation depend on skills, experience, and relevant past roles.
