The Aha! marketing team is a highly collaborative group of experts across campaigns, content, creative, knowledge base, and product marketing. We work within North American time zones to facilitate live video meetings and achieve more together.

Our Programs

The content and communications group within the broader marketing team is responsible for crafting stories that power the growth of our company. We own a broad range of content — blog posts, educational guides, newsletters, social engagement, and other customer communications — to drive company and product thought leadership. We are deadline-driven and hold ourselves to high standards.

We care deeply about providing content that is educational and entertaining, plus relevant and refreshing. We embrace direct feedback and rapid revision cycles, all in service of producing work that has an impact we are proud of. Our work is challenging and meaningful — we are always becoming better writers and content creators.

We do our planning and collaboration in Aha! Roadmaps and Aha! Teamwork. We are power users of our own software, often providing feedback and suggestions for improvements that are also shipped to customers. We use Slack and Zoom to communicate. (Email? Rarely.)

Your Experience

You have at least seven years of experience driving awareness for a sophisticated B2B audience and have owned large multichannel content or organic growth programs end to end. Familiarity with the product development domain is important. You are passionate about how content gets discovered across social platforms, search engines, communities, and trusted third parties. And you are highly analytical — closely monitoring performance data to evaluate what is working and why.

You combine strong writing skills with deep expertise across SEO, AI optimization/GEO, content repurposing, backlink efforts, and authority-building. You also have experience designing and running an integrated content growth strategy — not just executing individual tactics. And you stay curious about emerging channels and proactively adapt your approach as platforms and algorithms evolve.

You are comfortable leading work across teams that do not report to you and interacting with company leaders. You excel when there is a clear strategy, priorities, and plans. You work well in highly collaborative environments and welcome direct feedback. You understand that exceptional content distribution requires both strong domain knowledge and disciplined execution — and you take pride in doing the work well. You are proactive and resourceful, working closely with writers, editors, designers, and product marketers to achieve the best outcomes.

Your Work at Aha!

As a Senior Demand Manager, Content, you will work on a broad range of marketing initiatives and programs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping drive the strategy for organic growth and content distribution across search, AI, social, email, and the website.
  • Working proactively to deepen your understanding of our market, customers, and products.
  • Defining and maintaining the SEO and AI discovery roadmap — including topic strategy, keyword strategy, content structure, and optimization for both search engines and AI-driven systems.
  • Owning how content functions as an acquisition path in partnership with the product marketing and website teams — including templates, internal linking, navigation patterns, and conversion paths.
  • Leading organic growth performance analysis and using it to drive changes in priorities, plans, and investments.
  • Working with the campaigns team to align paid and organic acquisition strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining partnerships and third-party distribution to grow authority and reach.
  • Using social listening, SEO, and AI tools to inform content direction and distribution strategy.
  • Working closely with writers, editors, designers, product marketers, and the website team to turn strategy into coordinated execution.

  • The base salary range for this role in the U.S. is between $120,000 and $160,000.
  • Cash-based compensation also includes profit sharing, and we contribute a percentage of your total pay each month toward your retirement.
  • Medical, dental, and vision plans (for many teammates, we cover 100% of the premiums).
  • Up to 200 hours of paid time off a year to spend however you want.
  • 30 to 90 days of paid parental leave and five to 10 days of paid care and bereavement leave.
  • Up to $1,000 annually for third-party education, along with paid time off to immerse yourself in learning.
  • Volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Base salary and total compensation are dependent upon many factors, including skills, experience, and relevant past roles.
