Our Team

The Aha! marketing team is a collaborative group of experts in campaigns, content, creative, knowledge base, and product marketing. We operate within North American time zones to facilitate live video meetings and maximize productivity. As Aha! does not have a sales team, marketing is responsible for driving growth by increasing awareness, visitors, and trial signups. We work exceptionally hard and fast, consistently producing engaging content for new and existing customers. Our Programs

The content and communications group within marketing crafts stories that fuel company growth. We produce a wide range of content, including blog posts, educational guides, newsletters, social media engagement, and customer communications, to establish company and product thought leadership. We are deadline-driven and maintain high standards, focusing on creating content that is educational, entertaining, relevant, and refreshing. We welcome direct feedback and rapid revision cycles to produce impactful work. Our work is challenging and meaningful, pushing us to continuously improve as writers and content creators. We use Aha! Roadmaps and Aha! Teamwork for planning and collaboration, leveraging our own software and providing feedback for improvements. Communication is primarily through Slack and Zoom; email is used rarely.

Your Experience

We are looking for a candidate with at least seven years of experience shaping, writing, and editing thought leadership content for product and company leaders. You should be passionate about company growth, product development, and innovation. Expertise in voice matching, including style, word choice, and worldview, is essential. A strong interest in quickly learning our philosophy on building lovable products and our suite of tools is also required. You should be receptive to feedback, resilient, nimble, and willing to help others improve their content. Exceptional writing requires domain knowledge and critical thinking skills. You should be interested in communicating how sophisticated workflow management tools can enhance organizational strategy and productivity.

Your Work at Aha!

Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality company and product thought leadership content, driving content creation independently from outline to draft, and writing for various channels such as blogs, newsletters, and social media. You will proactively deepen your understanding of our market, customers, and product, and edit/review marketing content, including product announcements and campaigns. You will also learn and contribute to our editorial style guide, leverage AI tools for research and drafting, and manage or support initiatives that contribute to marketing and company goals. The base salary range for this role in the U.S. is $90,000-$155,000, with additional cash compensation through profit sharing. We also contribute monthly to your retirement and offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans (often with 100% premium coverage). Benefits include generous paid time off (up to 200 hours annually), parental leave (30-90 days), care and bereavement leave (5-10 days), annual education stipends ($1,000), and volunteer opportunities. Base salary and total compensation depend on factors like skills, experience, and past roles.
