Our Team
Aha! engineering is a mid-sized, fully remote team centered around North American time zones. We focus on collaboration, continuous learning, rapid deployment, and shared knowledge in a supportive environment.
Our Technology
Our web application is a Ruby on Rails monolith powered by Postgres, Redis, and memcached. We also utilize a Node.js webserver for collaborative editing. The application is hosted on AWS using ECS and incorporates React for enhanced client-side experiences.
Your Experience
As a Lead Ruby on Rails Engineer, you have four+ years of experience in a Rails codebase, building scalable and maintainable architectures in a high-growth SaaS environment. You work collaboratively with product teams and are eager to both lead and learn new technologies.
Your Work at Aha!
- Implement new features across the MVC framework
- Build interactive reporting interfaces using React
- Collaborate with product and UX teams on specifications
- Investigate and optimize performance issues
- Engage in customer support to quickly resolve bugs
- Document components for consistency in our style guide
