Technology Stack

Our product is built as a single-instance, multi-tenant Ruby on Rails monolith with Postgres, Redis, and memcached. A Node.js server supports collaborative editing, and we leverage React for interactive client-side experiences. Our infrastructure is hosted on AWS with ECS for scalability.

Your Role as Lead Ruby On Rails Engineer

You will:

  • Implement new features across the full stack.
  • Build interactive reporting interfaces using React.
  • Collaborate with product and UX teams on feature specifications.
  • Investigate performance issues and optimize database queries.
  • Interface with users to quickly resolve bugs.
  • Document components in our style guide.

Your Experience & Skills

Requirements include 4+ years working in Ruby on Rails, scalable and maintainable architectures, and experience at a high-growth SaaS company. You should be a strong team player, problem solver, and eager learner who values collaboration.

Benefits and Compensation

This role offers a base salary ranging from $140,000 to $200,000, profit sharing, comprehensive health plans, generous paid time off, parental leave, education allowances, and volunteer opportunities. Compensation is determined by skills, experience, and relevant past roles.
