The Opportunity:
We are launching an innovative new B2C product designed to offer seamless and transparent travel spending for all travelers.
As a Manager/Senior Manager, Growth Marketing - New Verticals, you will be instrumental in scaling this product from its early stages. You will own the growth strategy and execution, encompassing both user acquisition and retention, while collaborating closely with product, fintech, and cross-functional marketing teams. This is a unique chance to build a new vertical within Agoda from the ground up.
In this Role, You'll Get to:
- Co-own the go-to-market strategy with the product team, defining targeted segments, unique selling propositions (USP), and product positioning.
- Design a comprehensive marketing strategy for the new B2C product across the entire funnel, from user acquisition and activation to engagement and retention.
- Execute the marketing strategy, including launching various marketing channels such as paid search and app campaigns.
- Optimize performance campaigns across channels like app campaigns and paid search.
- Work closely with Product and Design teams to shape onboarding experiences, in-app messaging, and key user journeys.
- Collaborate with Fintech, Legal, and Compliance to ensure all campaigns, claims, and messaging are accurate, compliant, and easily understood by customers, translating regulatory constraints into clear, user-friendly communications.
- Build and continuously refine dashboards, reporting, and processes to scale growth operations efficiently over time.
- Over time, manage and mentor a growing team of analysts/marketers as the vertical expands.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Must Have Qualifications
- Marketing expertise: At least 8 years of experience, with 3+ years in hands-on growth/direct marketing for app-based or digital products, specifically focusing on user acquisition and retention.
- Strong analytical skills: Comfortable working with data and performance metrics (CAC, LTV, activation, retention, payback, cohorts).
- Data proficiency: Ability to pull and analyze data using SQL and/or self-serve BI tools.
- Entrepreneurial spirit: Demonstrated builder mentality, capable of operating in ambiguity, setting up new processes, and 'figuring things out' without a predefined playbook.
- Bias for action: A proactive approach and a strong inclination towards experimentation.
- Stakeholder management: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with multiple teams across various departments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Direct marketing, Performance marketing, and Affiliate marketing for financial products.
- Experience in fintech or financial services, such as travel cards or multicurrency wallets.
- Experience launching or scaling a new product or major feature.
