About the Role
The AI Conversational Designer will shape the behavior, flow, and quality of Agoda’s Chatbot assistant. This role is at the intersection of conversation design, UX, and content strategy with a strong focus on AI-driven interaction.
What You’ll Do
- Conversational Experience: Design and evolve conversational flows, define context gathering, and establish dialog principles.
- Tone and Behavior: Define and maintain the assistant's tone and ensure consistency as new features are added.
- AI and Experimentation: Guide LLM behavior through prompt optimization, run experiments, and iterate based on data.
- Collaboration: Work with Product Managers, Designers, Content, Branding, and Engineering teams to align conversational intent and technical capabilities.
- Enablement: Create artifacts like conversation flows and pattern libraries to support scalable design.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in conversation or interaction design
- Prompt engineering and optimization expertise
- Ability to design goal-oriented conversational experiences
- Strong systems thinking and comfort with ambiguity
- Collaboration experience with UX, Product, and Engineering teams
- Experience with chatbots, assistants, or AI-driven products
Nice to Have
- Experience defining tone of voice at scale
- Background in service or journey design
