About the Role

As an AI Conversational Designer, you will shape the behavior, flow, and quality of Agoda’s Chatbot assistant. This role focuses on designing high-quality, scalable conversational experiences at the intersection of conversation design, UX, and content strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Conversational Experience: Design and evolve conversational flows, define context gathering methods, and establish conversation principles.
  • Tone and Behavior: Define and maintain the assistant’s tone of voice in line with Agoda’s brand.
  • AI and Experimentation: Guide LLM behavior, run A/B tests, and optimize prompts using data and feedback.
  • Collaboration: Work with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Content teams to align conversational intent with technical capabilities.
  • Enablement: Create lightweight artifacts such as conversation flows and pattern libraries.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in conversation design or interaction design.
  • Proficiency in prompt engineering and optimization.
  • Ability to design multi-turn, goal-oriented conversational experiences.
  • Strong systems thinking and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Experience collaborating with UX designers, product managers, and engineers.
  • Experience with chatbots, assistants, or AI-driven products is a plus.
